Same but Different

Dragon (singer/songwriter/musician/event organiser originally from Wales, now living in London) and Jay, (DJ, sound technician, music producer and event organiser originally from Bermuda now living in Liverpool), have been friends since they worked the Student Union Bar together at Thames Valley Uni, beginning way back in 2000. This was when they first began hosting together, at various events in the Student Union. Thanks to Facebook, their friendship has maintained and grown over the last 18/19 years, leading to them co-hosting once more, beginning at Magical Festival 2018’s “Fully Blown Dome”. Dragon & Jay exemplify how 2 people can be quite literally opposites in their backgrounds and appearance, and yet share so much in common in who they are as people. They hope to show people a little “perspective” as they continue in their hosting endeavours in future.

Join Dragon & Jay as they host the Workshops, Talks & Activities at Magical Festival’s Fully Blown Dome once more. They will be particularly active in the panel discussions, where they will be interviewing a selection of highly interesting individuals, as they share their inspiring stories on “Mental Health: It’s Good To Talk” and “Warriors: People Who’ve Thrived In The Face Of Adversity”.
