There are two main camping fields with plenty of space for groups to camp together:
The campsites open at 2pm on Friday and last admissions will be at 10pm. This is a family-friendly festival so we kindly request that, especially in the evenings and through the night, noise is kept to a minimum in the campsites. No sound systems are permitted to be used – we have plenty of those in the festival site! For those wanting to stay up later, there are plenty of spaces outside of the camping areas to stay up for late chats. Campsites are for snoozin’ and the festival arena is for shenanigans!
If you are arriving by car, you must leave it in the car park. Cars will not be allowed anywhere beyond the main car park. The car park is only a hop, skip and a jump away from the camping area – one of the many perks of Magical being a micro festival!
You’re welcome to cook your own food on camp stoves or portable BBQs, but you must ensure they are raised off the grass and at least 5 metres away from any tent. Please DO NOT light these inside your tent or porch. Apart from the fire risk, there is a real danger of carbon monoxide poisoning, so please be sensible.
Unfortunately, open camp fires are not permitted anywhere in the campsite. Candles and paper or Chinese lanterns are also not allowed. Instead, we will be running a communal camp fire where you can warm up, chat about life and sing a few songs.
There are toilets situated around the site and they will be marked on the festival map. The loos will be a short walk from the camping area.
There will be drinking water points at various locations around the site, for you to fill up your reusable water bottles.
Our Magical stewards and security team will be looking out for your safety, keeping an eye on the campsite and car park all weekend. However, you can help too!
Introduce yourself to your camping neighbours, look after each other and maybe even dish them out a random act of kindness!
If you are registered disabled or have any special access requirements related to camping, please contact us at [email protected] before you arrive so we can look to make arrangements for your needs.
