Unknown Era was formed in 2014 by a ragtag group of musicians, socialites and party heads. They expanded into the current 9-piece, with four vocalists, two guitarists, a bass, drums, trumpet and trombone. They quickly built a strong reputation as one of Nottingham’s most popular bands with their high energy mix of Soul, Ska, Reggae, Gypsy, Punk, Rock, Funk and Dub.

In November 2015 the band released their self-titled debut EP. The official launch party at Rough Trade in Nottingham was sold out and so far all reviews of the EP have been very positive.
